His father Late Syed Md. Mumidul Husain was one of the Senior Advocates of Habigonj District Bar. His mother Syeda Hosne-Ara-Akther Khatun is the second daughter of late Syed Muhammadullah, a powerful Zaminder of village Sultanshi of Tarap Pargana of Habigonj district. His uncle Late Syed A. B.
